The newest site here, and the figures should be read as early rather than finished. A 3.23% click-through rate is healthy, but it sits on a small base of 5,110 impressions and an average position of 37, meaning most of that reach is page three or four. One further caveat we measured directly: across the 90 days to August 7, 2026, 65 of 90 clicks came from people searching EkoRoofers by name. The non-branded Cincinnati roofing and cedar siding terms are surfacing without converting yet, and moving those onto page one is the current job.

Project overview

EkoRoofers is a roofing and exterior contractor serving the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton regions, with over 30 years of experience, a 30-year workmanship warranty, and a habit of planting ten trees for every roof they replace. Their work spans residential roof replacement, roof repair, commercial roofing, gutters, and siding — five distinct services that homeowners search for in five completely different ways.

That was the core problem with the original site. A homeowner who has just found a water stain on the ceiling, a facilities manager pricing a commercial re-roof, and someone comparing cedar siding quotes are three separate buyers at three separate stages. Presenting them with one combined services page means competing for none of those searches properly and converting whichever visitors arrive by accident.

We rebuilt the site around search intent instead of around the company org chart. Repair, replacement, storm damage, commercial, and siding each became a real page with its own copy, its own proof, and its own call to action. Click-to-call went on every screen, because roof problems are discovered on a phone and usually outside business hours. Financing got its own section, since a replacement is a five-figure decision. The 30-year warranty and the three decades of experience moved up to where visitors actually look rather than sitting on an About page.

Then we worked the local SEO month over month: Google Business Profile, schema markup, internal linking, and city-level pages for the townships that make up the Cincinnati service area.

The measured result over the 90 days to August 7, 2026 was search impressions doubling from 1,700 to 3,394, with the site now surfacing for 290 distinct queries and ranking first for its brand terms. Clicks rose from 74 to 90.

We are deliberately specific about the limits of that. Sixty-five of those 90 clicks were brand searches — people who already knew the company. The non-branded commercial roofing and cedar siding terms are ranking between positions 20 and 87, which means Google now considers the site a plausible answer but not yet a top one. That gap is exactly what the next phase of work closes, and it is the normal shape of an early local SEO campaign: you surface for more searches first, then climb.

We document it this way on purpose. Roofing contractors get pitched inflated numbers constantly, and a case study that only shows the flattering half is not much use to someone deciding who to trust with their marketing budget.
